In 2022 Elizabeth City Council weakend rent control. We demand restoring the $20 cap on rent increases!

It’s 2025 and ICE continues to use Elizabeth for immigrant detention. We say “free them all!” and demand justice for our immigrant neighbors with restoring noncitizen voting for local elections.

We collected over 700 petitions from Elizabeth residents who are done with the rent hikes. Join us at the upcoming City Council meeting to demand City Council reinstitute the $20 rent cap.
